Facts : Entering service in 1976 and ended in 2003 following a crash and oil crisis. In more than 25 years of its service, Concorde  operated only by British Airways and Air France. Concorde is the one and only supersonic airliner in the world, an aviation pinnacle that unsurpassed by anything else. Beside the advantage of the speed, Concorde has some drawbacks that prevent airlines operated them and even no manufacturers planned something similar to Concorde. Concorde known as the most uneconomical airline in term of fuel usage and passenger capacity. In the early era of its service, Concorde had to compete with something that made speed less important, that is the Boeing 747 which carries huge amount of passengers with less fuel. That is why only French and British national carriers operated Concorde.
